Dark Lip Neutralisation in Dubai

Because we must gently lift the darkness using color theory rather than harsh lasers, Dark Lip Neutralisation is a multi-step process. Depending on the depth of the hyperpigmentation, most clients require 2 to 3 sessions, spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart, to achieve the perfect, brightened result.

The lips are sensitive, but your comfort is our priority. We use a highly effective, medical-grade primary numbing cream before we begin, and a secondary numbing gel during the procedure. Most clients rate the sensation as a very mild, tolerable vibration.

Do not panic! Because we use warm, orange-based pigments to cancel out blue/purple melanin, your lips will look intensely warm immediately after the procedure. As the lips heal over the next 5 to 7 days and the skin peels, this bright color will completely fade, revealing a soft, natural, and neutralized pink/brown underneath.

For the first 3 to 4 days, your lips will be slightly swollen, dry, and intense in color. They will then begin to lightly flake and peel. You must not pick the flakes! After the peeling finishes, the color will 'disappear' for a few weeks before 'blooming' back to the surface around week 4.

Melanin-rich skin is prone to Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH), meaning trauma can cause the lips to get darker instead of lighter. This is why you must go to a specialist.
