Microblading Eyebrows in Dubai

In general, microblading lasts between 1 to 3 years. However, in Dubai, the intense sun, frequent sweating, and active lifestyles can cause pigments to fade slightly faster. Oily skin types also tend to fade quicker than dry skin. An annual color-boost touch-up is recommended to keep the strokes crisp.

The initial session builds the foundation. During the healing process, the skin naturally rejects some of the pigment, causing the brows to shrink slightly and lighten by up to 40%. The mandatory 4-6 week touch-up allows the artist to perfect the shape, fill in any strokes that faded, and lock in the final color.

There is no 'downtime'—you can return to work immediately. However, the brows will look much darker and thicker for the first 3 to 5 days. Around day 5, they may start to lightly flake and peel (do not pick them!). The complete internal healing process takes about 28 days.

While microblading can be done on oily skin, the excess sebum can cause the crisp hair strokes to blur or expand over time. If you have very oily skin or large pores, they may highly recommend 'Ombre Powder Brows' or 'Microshading' for a better, longer-lasting result.
